What the Paid Monthly Newsletter Will Be Like
Weekly content will be small devotionals, monthly content will be prayer guides
As we slowly roll out this publication here on Substack and over on Medium, I wanted to share what you can expect from the monthly paid newsletter. More specifically, I will give you an example with this post, which will remain free.
First, you might ask, “Why would you lock some content behind a paywall?”
Some writers and publications will create a paywall for you to donate to the cause but not provide any value. While I would love for you to support this publication, which I consider a personal ministry, I also want to provide value to you.
As I thought about content that could be valuable, I found myself being led to different podcasts and books talking about the practice of prayer and meditation.
Over the last year, I have started a prayer and meditation practice where I take a Bible verse and pray through it a few times throughout the day. As I pray through the verse, I meditate on its meaning and how it applies to my life.
This has helped change how I see the world and transform me from the inside out.
While I have toyed around with this practice in the past and created content that would encourage it, I thought it was time to dial it in and create it as something people can use in their daily lives.
That is what you will find with the monthly paid posts here on Coffee with Jesus.

30 Days to Grow Your Prayer Life
Prayer is one of the four essential spiritual disciplines every Christian needs.
In this discipline, you are communicating with God directly. And it isn’t only about you talking to God. When you surrender yourself in prayer, he will speak to you.
When I first became a Christian, I was not very comfortable with prayer. It was awkward to pray out loud. And it was uncomfortable to pray by myself. I had a block with it. But I continued to try and make it second nature.
Over time, I grew my prayer life.
Today, I love to pray. Whether in groups or by myself, it is one of my favorite ways to experience Jesus, talk to the Father, and walk with the Holy Spirit.
Today, I want to share with you thirty scriptures that you can pray through and meditate on to help you grow your prayer life.
Simple Steps to Broaden Your Prayer Life
A simple prayer practice that you can use today is to read one of these verses out loud. And then pray through it for your life. Then, sit quietly and listen for what God has for you.
Now that you have these simple steps review the prayer and meditation scripture below.
30 Verses to Deepen Your Prayer Life
